Inspiration
Terra Firma is a classic and elegant cowl that incorporates easy-to-read textures and enchanting lace. Designed to be warm without bulk, this cowl is great for preventing the chill from creeping onto the back of your neck on a blustery fall day.
With a little of a lot – lace, seed stitch, twisted stitches, and i-cord borders, it is an engaging project to knit one more row to see what happens next. The 20-row stitch repeat makes it easy for you to make the cowl shorter or longer simply by adding and subtracting repeats.
Designed to be seamless, the cowl is cast on provisionally and grafted at the end to make a loop. Don’t be worried about an ugly seam – there won’t be one. Graft it together with ease and continuing the texture with the logical, step-by-step grafting instructions included in the pattern.
